A little about me… 

My name is LOUISE WILLIAMS…

I am a North Queensland girl who met a Sydney boy named Phil…

We married and live in South West BRISBANE…

I’m a woman, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother (to a cat *smile*), a painter, a gardener, a friend, a Psychologist (yes, that’s right and no I am not reading your mind right now *grin*), a primary school teacher (in another life long ago), a PHOTOGRAPHER, and a STORYTELLER…

I am FRIENDLY, flexible in my approach to life, and always upfront with the people in my life…
I have a quirky SENSE OF HUMOUR, which tends to influence my photo shoots, through me challenging my clients to try new things and create images that truly reflect their personalities and most of all….to have FUN!!!

I went to University for 7 years to study psychology and teaching, but I have been delving into art all of my life.
I have studied human nature, dynamics, emotions, communication, relationships, and inspiring and motivating groups….all QUALITIES that are so very helpful as a photographer of people and events.

I love creating depth, texture and colour in my images.
I never shy away from difficult situations, whether it be someone who doesn’t like their photo being taken, a tired child, or family members with competing interests at your event.  I am able to handle such scenarios with PROFESSIONALISM and flexibility.

I love painting with light and colour when processing my client’s images.  My ABSOLUTE LOVE is processing and designing art for my clients to adore within their home.

NOW THIS PART IS IMPORTANT…I manage two businesses, so I choose to only accept a certain number of commissioned portraits and weddings per year.  By doing so, I maintain a LIFE BALANCE for myself and my family.  It also allows me to provide PERSONALISED CUSTOM PHOTOGRAPHY for my clients, creating images and products that are of the upmost QUALITY. I am not the cheapest photographer in Brisbane, and I am certainly not the most expensive, but I believe that the old adage is appropriate – you get what you pay for.  Most of my clients spend on average at least a $1000 and above.

I love how images can feed the soul and reflect the ultimate human spirit.  I aspire to create those types of images for all of my clients each and every time.
