I photographed Renee and Dave’s wedding day on Saturday this last weekend.  The weather forecast was for another dust storm, but nowhere near as bad as a few weeks ago.  Well, the weather didn’t disappoint!  It was a boiling hot day, extremely dry, windy, and……dusty…  But, regardless of the weather, the day turned out beautifully!  Such a fun wedding!

We started the day off photographing Renee getting ready in East Brisbane, then we headed over to Merthyr Park in New Farm.  Renee was so relaxed and such a beautiful bride!  Her dress was amazing and her tulip bouquet was absolutely gorgeous!  Dave is such a character and really took the whole day in his stride.  You could really see the love that these two felt for one another, and you could tell that Dave was as proud as punch to be married to Renee.  After the ceremony we headed over to the Powerhouse, for some bridal party photographs, and then back to the Regatta Hotel where the party revved up for everyone

On Sunday I had the pleasure of meeting Tamea and Matt in the afternoon at the Powerhouse, New Farm. They are such a beautiful couple. They really look so much in love and have a great connection with one another. They were willing to go to any lengths to get some great photographs and follow my lead so graciously. I love photographing with people who are willing to give a little bit more to the photo shoot, because I know that their photos will overflow with emotion and they will get some awesome images to take home. I ask a lot OF my couples and Tamea & Matt were willing to give me that little bit extra, which I really appreciated.

Tamea and Matt are getting married this month, in two weekends time actually. I want to wish them all the very best for their big day, and for the rest of their lives! Have a blast on your wedding day guys, and remember………….to breathe and take every moment in on the day!!!!
